Status: 'Glyphostomes' of Munier-Chalmas, 1895 refers to echinoids with gill slits. Based on our curent knowledge this therefore is a paraphyletic group which includes regular euechinoids and basal Irregularia but not advanced Irregularia. It was a term used to separate cidarid and non-cidarid regulars. [details]
