Habitat Terrestrial. This species was collected in pitfall traps in a small area of wasteland behind La Thanh Hotel in central Hanoi City, Vietnam. The pitfall traps were laid in the dry land because December is dry season in Vietnam. No river or other waters were observed in the proximity of the collection locality [details]

Remark It is unclear why Hou & Li (2003) placed this species in Floresorchestia. It has most of the characteristics of the genus, but lacks stridulating organs on the epimera. It does have a weakly developed serrate posterior margin on the basis of pereopod 7. Maybe the stridulating organs are lost in this terrestrial species. It could be placed in Platorchestia. [details]
