Habitat Row of freshwater ponds in a small forest close to the beach. [details]

Habitat living on the edge of small freshwater ponds and streams on the north and south
coasts of east Flores [details]

Remark Weber (1892) only illustrated the first and second gnathopods of a male and female. His description mentions the characteristic posterior margin of the basis of pereopod 7 and the lack of marginal robust setae on the outer ramus of uropod 1. But the species has never been properly illustrated or described and there are no characters to distinguish it from other species in the genus. The second gnathopod illustrated by Schellenberg (1938) looks similar to the one illustrated by Weber (1892). [details]
