Diagnosis Test unilocular, ovate in outline, slightly compressed, ovoid in section; wall calcareous, translucent, surface smooth; aperture symmetrical, consisting of two elongate slits, one at each side of the test apex and separated by a narrow bridge, the straight central entosolenian tube is bifurcated just beneath the openings so that both connect with the tube.
