Editor's comment Dentilucina macassari Prashad, 1932, was treated as a synonym of Cardiolucina semperiana (Issel, 1869) by Taylor & Glover (1997). At that time, they had examined only the holotype of macassari but access to new material has revealed it to be a valid species (J.D Taylor, pers. com.). [details]
