Type material 12 syntypes NHMUK 20000388, ex. Tankerville colln. Interesting variation set as where variation in the spiral sculpture is concerned. All 12 are of average size for the species, and show the typical colouring and sculpture for this species. Largest specimen measures 18,75 mm x 5,85 mm.
A note with the type sample mentions that the "syntype"-sample as mentioned by Higo, Callomon & Goto with reg. no. 2000039 "is not correct". It is currently not clear what exactly is referred to by that note by lack of availability of that publication to the present editor. [details]
