Note  Diagnosis: Thalassometridae with brachitaxes all of 2 brachials. Proximal brachials aborally rounded or flattened, typically spinose. Arms up to 30, compressed and sharply carinate, commonly with overlapping spine. Firs t pinnule larger than second but not especially stout or basally broadened. [details]
