Notes  Taxonomy: Beu (2005:119) listed the name Dolium galea var. tenebrosa Hanley, 1860 in the synonymy of Tonna galea (Linnaeus, 1758), a vision not substantiated by Vos (2007:60) who separated the two species based on available recent material. [details]
