Additional Material Re-examination of the material of A. mirabilis held in the collections of G. O. Sars (Oslo) and K. lang (Stockholm) by Conroy-Dalton & Huys (2000), revealed it to be based on an amalgamate of Ancorabolus inermis Conroy-Dalton & Huys, 2000 and A. confusus Conroy-Dalton & Huys, 2000.
Additional material of A. confusus previously identified as A. mirabilis by K. Lang and G. O. Sars:
- 4 females in alcohol labeled A. mirabilis (SMNH 15352), Gullmarfjord, Sweden, 60 m depth, coll. K. Lang; Naturhistoriska Riksmuseet, Stockholm, Sweden.
