Checked: verified by a taxonomic editorSynonymy Eupomatus trypanon cannot be a synonym of H. elegans as it is a senior name. Zibrowius (1971:721) preferred to match Eupomatus trypanon to Hydroides norvegica rather than H. elegans, based on the ecology of the occurrence. [details]
