Editor's comment: Described as Vermetus porosus by Daudin, attributed to Placostegus by Hartman (following Mörch), but more probably a species of Spirobranchus, cf. polytrema. Material present in the ZMK under the name Placostegus porosus det. Mörch (but not mentioned by him in 1863) partly belongs to Pseudovermilia fuscostriata, partly either to Spirobranchus minutus or Spirobranchus polytrema. See comment P. ornatus too.
