Habitat In clean medium to fine sand, at shallow water. [details]
Reproduction Epitokes with four enlarged lenticular eyes, and several very long natatory setae on the segments swollen with reproductive material, being longer than usual capillary simple seta.
Larval settlement mainly from April to June in the type locality, with the highest density of 25,000 inds./m2. Adult population disappears soon after the breeding season. [details]
