Habitat Intertidal sandflats. [details]
Synonymy Rodi & Dauer (1996) first suggested the synonymy of Marenzelleria jonesi with M. viridis, but their work was not published, appearing only in abstract form. Sikorski & Bick (2004) were the first to publish a forma synonymy with descriptions and information on the types examined. Later Blank & Bastrop (2009) published molecular data. [details]
