Diagnosis Original diagnosis by Verrill (1900: 662): "Differs from typical Streblosoma in having 4 clusters of cirriform branchiae on segments 2, 3, 4, 5, and sometimes a few cirri on the 6th segment. The capillary setae begin on the 1st branchiferous segment, and continue on about 35 to 45 segments, or nearly to the end of the body." [details]
