Unreviewed: has not been verified by a taxonomic editorClassification Charadriiformes are included in Ciconiiformes in the classification proposed by Sibley & Monroe (see here for the book, here for the classification), which was followed by ITIS. The classification does not seem to be followed by very many authors; we decided to use a more conservative classification for Aphia. Thanks to Luc Lens for advice on this. [details]
