Note  Boury-Esnault & Van Beveren (1982) described this variety as a new species assigning themselves as authors. Since the variety was erected before 1961, this action was unnecessary and Hentschel's name could have been used as a valid (sub-)specific taxon taking Hentschel as an author (see ICZN article 45.6.3). However, we propose to retain Boury-Esnault & Van Beveren's decision for stability purposes. [details]
