Notes  Distribution: Tropical Indo-Pacific in Kalk (1958).
Habitat: rock (Kalk, 1959). [details]

Taxonomy: Day (1957) placed E. punctata Peters as subspecies of E. afra Peters, but Fauchald (1992) gave E. punctata Peters a new name, E. petersi, as it is a junior secondary homonym to E. punctata (Risso), and treated it as valid at species rank. [details]
