Description Small, solid shell, up to 4 cm, with 1-2 varices and 10-15 prominent knobbly, spiral chords on each whorl. Outer lip with white denticles; aperture white. Colour creamy white or yellowish, occasionally with light, narrow, transverse bands and yellow blotches. Habitat: under coral and on sand in shallow and deep water. Distribution: Indo-Pacific.
