Introduced species remark In Turkish part of the Mediterranean Sea - Eastern Basin (Marine Region) : 1st & 2nd record of T. spinosissimus in Mediterranean were from Bay of Trianda, north-western coast of Rhodes Island, south-eastern Aegean Sea. The first was collected in 2004 (Corsini et al. 2005), the second in 2009 (Corsini-Foka et al. 2010) [details]
