Description: A solid, conical shell, up to 7cm, with almost flat sides, height and width approximately equal. Inner edge of aperture with 4-5 blunt nodules. Purple, white and deep pink radial bands; yellowish operculum. Habitat: among coral and rock in the lower eulittoral and sublittoral. Distribution: Indo-Pacific. (Richmond, 1997).
