Remark Metaprotella haswelliana was originally described from Port Jackson, New South Wales, but it appears that the species no longer occurs in this area. The original type was lodged in the Zoological Museum, Copenhagen, but is now lost. A neotype was established by Takeuchi & Lowry, 2007. [details]
