Description: Length: 16-17 cm. Plumage: sooty-brown with large white throat patch; sometimes with forehead whitish; some with distinct scaly appearance to back; tail well forked. Bare parts: iris dark brown; bill black; feet and legs dark pink or brownish-maroon. Habitat: coastal.
