Shell with low spire, up to 9 cm. Small and large, blunt spines (often eroded) on shoulders of whorls. Columella with 5-6 folds. Colour white with brown blotches; aperture yellowish-white; outer lip blotched with black. Habitat: lower eulittoral reef areas. Distribution: Indo-Pacific. (Richmond, 1997). [details]
