Description: Description: tube feet restricted to the ventral ambulacra but scattered dorsallly, bogy wall ossicles comprising multi-locular knobbed plates and shallow rugose 'baskets' with a basic quadri-locular design and 10 tentacles of more or less equal size (Rowe & Gates, 1995). Habitat: Sand, shell, rock, ?limestone, Phyllochaetopterus. Cryptofaunic or in rock crevices, from lower balanoid zone to 52 m (Thandar, 1991. Also distributed in Ceylon (Clark & Rowe, 1971).
