Remark In Cuvier & Valenciennes <111>. Not found in Western Indian Ocean by Smith. Possibly synonym with Ostorhynchus endekataenia (Bleeker, 1852) (=Apogon endekataenia Bleeker, 1852 in <111>), a highly variable species Smith (1961). [details]
