Biology: zooxanthellate [details]
Description: Colonies are massive with slightly angular corallites. Calices are 8-12 mm in diameter with strongly alternating septa and weakly developed paliform lobes. Columellae are large. Colour: a wide range but usually brown, sometimes with green oral discs. Abundance: common on some reefs. (Veron, 1986 <57>) [details]
