Description: Colonies are massive, either rounded or hillocky. Corallites have very thick walls and tend to become subplocoid. Calices average 10 mm in diameter. Budding is both intra- and extratentacular. Paliform lobes may be developed. Colour: Abundance (Veron, 1986). [details]
