This name was proposed for Leucandra intermedia Row, 1909 which was a junior homonym of Leucandra intermedia (Haeckel, 1872 as Leucetta pandora var.intermedia). Since Borojevic et al. 2000 transferred L. intermedia Row, 1909 to the genus Leucandrilla, the name intermedia becomes available again and L. infesta becomes a junior synonym. [details]
