Homonymy Grube replaced Dasymallus without comment, and this is assumed to be because it was thought junior to Dasymallus Dejean, 1835, Catal. Coléopt., ed. 2, 384 [n.n.], as noted by Chamberlin (1919). However, Dasymallus Dejean appears to be a listing only, so this may not have been necessary, but Dasybranchus is long accepted as the valid Capitellidae genus name. [details]
