Note  Taxonomy: Some elder authors lumped Trivia monacha and Trivia arctica under the name T. europaea (Montagu, 1808). It is however made clear thatTrivia monacha and Trivia arctica should be regarded as two separate species. The difference between the two has been discussed in Ankel (1936) and Fretter & Graham (1981). [details]
