Description: Distinctive knobbly, chalky shell, up to 10 cm, with a very pronounced transverse row of knobs on each whorl. Strongly crenulate outer lip and a broad siphonal canal. All white, often encrusted. Habitat: shallow sand close to coral reefs. Distribution: Indo-Pacific. (Richmond, 1997). [details]
