Checked: verified by a taxonomic editorTaxonomy Assignment of Dragmatyle topsenti to Eurypon is done on the basis of Hooper's (2002: 488) statement that Dragmatyle is a junior synonym of Eurypon. Burton's species is an unlikely Eurypon as it is ramose with an axial skeleton of tylostyles. The type needs to be examined for a proper evaluation of the generic status. This is especially important because Pulitzer-Finali (1983) erected the junior homonym Eurypon topsenti for a Mediterranean species, which will have to be replaced if the two are members of Eurypon[details]
