Spelling: Hydroides norvegica according to many sources (including NWARMS and ITIS) [details]
Taxonomic Remark: West to South African records partly should be referred to Hydroides capensis; from the azores to H. azoricus. [details]
Taxonomic Remark: Hydroides norvegicus is a strictly boreal/Mediterranean (deeper water) taxon; all records under this name from port-fouling and/or (sub)tropical areas should be checked, but mostly belong to Hydroides elegans [details]
