Checked: verified by a taxonomic editorLectotype The syntypes used by Hansen (1879) to describe the species from stations 18 and 31 from The Norwegian North-Atlantic Expedition 1876-78 were found in the same vial (ZMBN 2275) by Bakken et al. (2014). The type material consisted of 4 complete specimens, of which 3 were damaged. In the original description Hansen stated that one specimen with damage to the mid-body was from Sta. 18, and this one was easily recognised by Bakken et al. among the specimens. Hence, the remaining specimens were from Sta. 31. An undamaged specimen agreed with the original description and illustration and was selected as the lectotype, and the remaining 3 specimens became paralectotypes.  [details]
