Type locality in translation Marenzeller is reported as recording the new species "at different points of the Eastern Mediterranean and at Pelagosa at depths from 485 to1298 m. Thus the type locality is not precise to one location. Pelagosa (Palagruža in Croatian) is a small archipelago in the middle of the Adriatic Sea. The name Pelagosa, is derived from Ancient Greek Pelagousae, meaning sea. Kirtley 1994 147), and others including Zhang et al (2020: 497) state the type locality is off Pelagosa Island (anglicised spelling also as Pelagossa). This is clearly not strictly correct. [details]
