Note The species was described with base on 13...
Type material The species was described with base on 13 specimens collected off the west coast of Ireland and stated to be "all in a very bad state of preservation" (Southern, 1909: 3). No type was designated, for which reason all 13 are to be considered as syntypes. Two of these syntypes were deposited in the NHMUK (NHMUK 1909.11.29.2), while the whereabouts of the rest of the syntypes, or if they are still extant, is not known. [details]
