Distribution For some time Caulleriella alata was widely recorded worldwide, hence the many distribution records associated with this name. These records probably should be re-evaluated. Blake (1996:312) notes that "it is likely that many species are present among the various reports of C. alata in the literature." [details]

Distribution For some time Caulleriella alata was widely recorded worldwide, hence the many distribution records associated with this name. These records probably should be re-evaluated. Blake (1996:312) notes that "it is likely that many species are present among the various reports of C. alata in the literature." [details]

New combination Although their record is now assigned to Caulleriella pacifica Berkeley, 1929, and not C. alata, the Berkeley's (1950) appear to be the first to use the combination Caulleriella alata. See for example Blake (1996:310 on C. pacifica). For some time Caulleriella alata was widely recorded worldwide. [details]
