Notes  Description: Found on the continental shelf and upper slope over mud and clay bottom. Temperature range is from 13°C to 4.5°C. Catch data indicate a schooling habit. Feeds mainly on bottom-living invertebrates. A hermaphroditic species. Marketed fresh and sometimes made into fish meal (Ref. 6688). [details]
