Description: Lyman (1874) says that Ophiopeza does not differ from Pectinura, except in having small supplementary mouth-shields. [details]
Remark: Type species: P. vestita Forbes by monotypy. H.L. Clark suggested placing Ophiopeza in synonymy with Pectinura; according to Mortensen, cited in A.M. Clark (1968), this should wait untill the type species is better studied. [details]
