Identification In NW Atlantic, Lineus ruber and Lineus viridis are commonly confused, especially with larger, dark-colored specimens. Head is reddish in former, greenish (but with reddish brain) in latter. [details]

Lineus gesserensis (partim) = Lineus ruber
