Reported in Provence, France (Blanc-Vernet, 1969), Turkey (Meric et al., 2004, 2008) see Koukousioura et al. 2010. Low abundance of this species in Koukousioura et al. 2010 where it was never >1% of the foramineral population in central Aegean sites in Greece. [details]
