Description Body compressed; eyes small, oval; anterior projections of the head similar to those in R. turanus; antennae reaching in males 2/3 of the length of the body; in young specimens they are longer, reaching 3/4 of the body; flagellum~25-jointed in males, but in young specimens conntaining about 30 to .32 joints;·additional flagellum 4-jointed. Second antennae. shorter, with long pedicel., flagellum 9- or 10-jointed. ln female first antenaae only slightly Ionger than the half of the body length, flagellum 21-jointed; second antennae twice shorter than the first, with shortcued pedicel. Gnatopods and ·pereopods reminding of those in R. turanus; basipodites of the pereopods 4th and 5th elongated (fig. 18), spinules not numerous. Formula of spinules on the urosome:

Median spinules long, placed apart. Inner branch of third uropods scarcely longer than the half of the length of the outer one, bearing on Its inner edge Iong simple and plumose hairs, as weIl as the basal group of spines; outer branch armed with groups of simple and plumose hairs in its distal
half; second joint very smalI, reduced. Lobes oftbe telson elongated and armed, each,with a strong spine in its basal half; apical spines Iong. Length of males 10 to 10.5 mm, that of females 6.5 to 7.5mm. This form is nearly allied to R. turanus, but distinct.
