Nomenclature As this is the first of the varieties of Ceraochalina multiformis described by Von Lendenfeld, 1887 it should be renamed as the typical variety Ceraochalina multiformis var. multiformis. But since all varieties are junior synonyms of Callyspongia (C.) ramosa(Gray, 1843) this technical adapation is not necessary. [details]
