| Abstract | Three new species of the genus Afrolaophonte (Crustacea, Copepoda, Harpacticoidea) are listed and described; two are from the Maldives Islands, the third is from Sierra Leone. The data provided by the study of these three species necessitate a further review of the diagnosis of the genus and some changes, which are discussed together with some data on taxonomy and affinity of the species. Furthermore, a key to the species hitherto known is given. | ||||||
