Two new commensal species of the genus Hololepidella Willey (Polychaeta: Polynoidae) from the Philippine Islands: Hololepidella obtusa n. sp. is a commensal with the starfish Echinometra sp. It is distinguished from the other species of the genus by the truncate distal end of the neurosetae. Hololepidella lobata n. sp., a commensal with the starfish Protoreaster sp., is characterized by the long presetallobe of the neuropodium (see key, p. 66).
