Acanthobothrium bajaensis sp. n. (Tetraphyllidea: Oncobothriidae), characterized by length, number of segments, size of hooks, and number of testes, was found in 3 of 4 horn sharks, Heterodontus francisci (Girard) from San Quintin Bay, Baja California, and one horn shark from Newport Bay, California. Acanthobothrium goldsteini sp. n. is characterized by number of testes, number of segments, spinose scolex, hook size, cirrus pouch, length of peduncle, and strobila. These cestodes were found in 2 thornback rays, Platyrhinoidis triseriata (Jordan and Gilbert), from Seal Beach, California. A. olseni Dailey, 1968, is reported from a new host, the round stingray, Urolophus halleri Cooper. The genus Acanthobothrium is discussed.
