Seven new species of digenetic trematodes distributed over 3 genera are reported from marine fishes from the Bay of Bengal, off the Puri coast, Orissa. New species are Mehratrema thapari from Tachysurus platystomus; Lecithocladium puriensis from Chondroplites chinensis; L. bengalensis from Decapterus russelli; L. jagannathi from Rachycentron canadus; Parahemiurus puriensis from Thrissochles dussumieri; P. indicus from Dussumieria acuta, and Aponurus orientalis from Therapon theraps.
