| Abstract | 50 species of Demosponges, collected in 16 stations, along de Rias Bajas (Galicia) diving with scuba, have been analyzed morphologically and systematically. 10 species are added to the list of Porifera of the marine fauna of Galicia: Plakina monolopha, Timea stellata, Mycale minima, Myxilla incrustans, Myxilla iotrochotina, Pytheas fusifera, Crella elegans, Pytheas rosea, Spanioplon armaturum and Acarnus tortilis. 5 species are recorde for the first time on the Spanish coast. | ||||||
