Additional information Types. Holotype, female, BPBM 14563. Paratypes: male, 6 females, 6 males, 4 juveniles; 4 females, 3 males, 3 juveniles, NMNS NMCC 1990–0583; 5 females, 7 males, 15 juveniles, AM P.40429; 3 females, 1 male, 1 juveniles, BMNH 1990:44:5.
Type locality. Highest point of Lanipo Trail (2,520 ft), Mau'umae Ridge, Ko'olau Range, Hawaii (~21°18′49″N 157°46′20″W).
Habitat. Terrestrial land-hopper (mascupod) in moss on windward side of ridge.
Size. 8.5 mm.
