These lists have been uploaded in SCAR-MarBIN's Register of Antarctic Marine Species (RAMS); classification has been added and/or made consistent with information avalable at VLIZ (Worlds species lists, ERMS,...), and synonymy checked. The original list needs to be checked and completed by the RAMS Taxonomic Editor. It is intended that this register, managed through the SCAR MarBIN project, will provide the most up to date information on the marine diversity of Antarctica. When constructed this web-site will be linked to the Oceanic Biology Information System (OBIS) and the Global Biodiversity Information Facility (GBIF).
